Q switched Laser
When patients visit us to remove hyperpigmentation, birthmarks and tattoos,
we suggest the use of Q switched Nd:YAG laser. The laser is designed to target
various types of pigment in the skin and can achieve a remarkable lightening of
pigmented lesions and tattoos.
This laser produces energy that passes through the skin’s outer layers and is
selectively absorbed by the abnormal pigment. This causes the pigment to
break into smaller particles which are then removed by the body’s immune
system.
